The HIDOE Guidance for Long-Term School Closures: Graduation, Promotion and Grading has been updated.
"As of Monday, March 23, Kupu has begun to serve meals to the youth and their families, alongside the Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE). According to Kupu, the youth are encouraged to take the HIDOE meals intended for them, while the adults are encouraged to take the meals that Kupu has prepared, so that the whole family has food to eat.
Kupu has so far served a total of 2,000 meals at Waimanalo Elementary and Intermediate Schools. Starting Monday, March 30, the distribution will expand to Kahalu'u, where an additional 350 to 400 meals will be served at KEY Project, Monday through Friday starting at 11:30 a.m."
